Adolf Hitler
(Political)
Who is he?
Hitler was the dictator of Germany from 1934 to 1945. He was the leader of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, which was known as the Nazi Party. When World War I was over Hitler took control of Germany by promising economic success to the poor and sad citizens of the country. During World War II Hitler took his hate toward the Jewish people to an all new level. Hitler used his power for all of the wrong reasons, which eventually corrupted him. Since Hitler was in control of the country he took his own view of what was perfect and brought that into his leadership to share with the entire country. Concentration camps were set up by Hitler for the Jews to work themselves to death. These concentration camps were the most horrific inventions ever created by a dictator. They would burn the Jews alive, poison them with gas, shoot them with guns, and work them to death. The concentration camps were not fun for the Jewish and children had nightmares about them. Families got split up for the rest of their lives and Jews had no one to rely on for support except for their number that got branded into their wrist to tell officials who they were. They had no names, just numbers of disgust that was created by Hitler. Adolf Hitler was the worst dictator in history which he created millions of deaths over the persecution of Jews.
Why is he important?
Adolf Hitler was important because he made a huge gap in history. Never before has there been a dictator that has hated on a certain cultural group and killed millions of people because of it. This is important because it showed the world what too much power to one person can result in disaster. Hitler tried to take over the world and persecute all of the Jews. He also hated upon people who did not have blonde hair and blue eyes and even murdered people who did not display these characteristics. Hitler is important because the world has learned from history as to accept everyone who is different and to be understanding of different cultural groups.
Does he show progress?
Surpirsingly Adolf Hitler shows a little bit of progress as well as no progress at the same time. There was no progress in history with Adolf Hitler as a ruler of Germany because he went around killing all of the Jews and killing people who did not have blonde hair and blue eyes. When a person goes around killing other people because they do not fit the characteristics that they seem as an ideal and beautiful person then there is a problem and there is no way that this kind of situation could be progress. The concentration camps were not a progress because it was segregating all of the Jewish and making them work until they died. This was very bad because it caused unnecesary amount of fear for the population in the concentration camps and for the population worried that they might end up in one. When a country is fearing the ruler of their nation then there is no progress going on. At the same time there is a little bit of progress in history going on because once Hitler could not stop his endless killing of the Jews then other people started seeing how bad of a ruler Hitler really was and people wanted to step in and make a change for him to stop the persecution of the Jews. Progress was shown when the prosecution of the Jews was all over and when Adolf Hitler was no longer a ruler of Germany because it symbolized a time of piece and prosperity in the nation that was very much needed after the gruesome experience the population went through.
Leading to...
Having Adolf Hitler as a ruler and having him persecute the Jewish helped lead to the next era in history that is known as the Korean War because with all of the hostility towards cultural beliefs there was battles going on throughout the world. So it would only make sense in another war started and this one just happened to be the Korean War.
