Industrialization
Is History a History of Progress?
This is an image that shows a city with tall smoke stacks in the distance. This represents industrialization because during that time period businesses were growing and becoming bigger. Factories were being made when companies first started business. During the industrialization era many Americans worked in these factories. Entire cities were filled with factories and thats when the economy started doing well because people were making money with their jobs and businesses were flourishing with the progress they were making. The picture shows all of the smoke stacks which polluted the air and made a cloudy loom in the air around the cities. However, they were necessary for business because thats where the power source of the factories during the industrialization time period came from.
